About Us
Caffe Shop Ltd operates specialised shops in the United Kingdom, selling Coffee machines, Coffee and accessories. We carry an extensive range of new and re-conditioned Gaggia and Caffitaly coffee machines from Filter coffee machines to Traditional espresso machines and Bean to cup automatic machines. We also sell a range of Caffitaly Capsule machines and Ecaffe capsules.
We have Gaggia trained engineers who have over 40 years of experience [between them] in repairing and servicing of Gaggia and Saeco machines. We even give one to one training for our customers on how to get the best out of your machine.
The shops were formerly called GAGGIA shops but they are now owned by Caffe Shop Ltd and are independent of Gaggia but continue to sell GAGGIA new and re-conditioned and nearly new machines.

Maintenance
Maintaining your machine in a good condition by de-scaling the machine with the Gaggia liquid de-calcifier is a good start. You can also make sure that the brewing parts and steam wands are cleaned regularly.
Automatic machines, please ensure that you take the brewing unit out and rinse it under running water. Lubrication of the joints of moving parts are also essential.
Manual machines you can undo the shower disc and shower holding plates and clean them thoroughly, regularly. Shower discs can be boiled for about 20 minutes and brushed with a metal brush. There are some holes on the shower holding plate and these can be cleaned with a cocktail stick or a thin wire. On mechanical Valve machines you can undo the valve and soak them in de-scaling liquid to unclear blockages. It is also a good idea to de-scale the machine if you are not going to use the machine for a few weeks. It is also good to drain the water from the boiler...... Coffee Workshop
We conduct a monthly Coffee Workshop in our show room in Elland, West Yorkshire, for those who want to learn more about maintaining their machines and to learn coffee making skills. The cost of attending this workshop is £20 per person. It is between 1pm and 3 pm on the last Friday of each month. Please call us to enrol or enrol online.
Manual Machines
Remove filter and plate with screwdriver. Clear the exit hole. Dissolve contents in 1 1/2 litres of
water, pour it into the water tank and turn pump on for 20 seconds. Wait 20 minutes and repeat.
Wait 3 minutes. Flush through steam pipe. Repeat whole operation until solution is finished and no
scale remains in water. Rinse tank with clean water.
Automatic Machines
Dissolve contents in 1 1/2 litres of water, pour it into the water tank and open the steam pipe
knob to extract water through steam pipe. Once you have completed the de-scaling empty
and rinse water tank before filling with fresh water.
